TERMS & CONDITIONS

Medical History

All clients will be required to complete an enrolment form. It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that any health issues are fully disclosed as your teacher cannot accept responsibility for any information omitted.

Pilates exercises are very safe but as with all forms of physical activity it is the client's responsibility to consult their G.P or specialist to confirm suitability prior to commencing your first Pilates session.

Please inform your teacher before starting any session if for any reason your health or your ability to exercise changes.

It is inadvisable to do Pilates between weeks 8 to 14 of pregnancy. It is also wise to wait six weeks after the birth before resuming exercise.

Your Pilates sessions are not a substitute for medical consultation or treatment. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the exercises you should refer back to your medical practitioner.

Your teacher cannot accept any liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if your doctor has advised you against such exercise, you fail to observe instructions on safety or technique or injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class.

Exercise should be performed at a pace which feels comfortable for you. Pain is the body's warning system and should not be ignored. Please inform your teacher immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session. Please also inform your teacher if you feel any discomfort after a previous session.

All information will be treated with the strictest of confidence.

Group Classes

All matwork classes are paid for in advance on a term basis of approximately 6 weeks duration. Unfortunately no refunds can be given for missed classes.

There is however a fairly generous “class swap” system in place whereby clients may transfer to another class should they not be able to attend their usual session. This system does require at least 24 hrs notice and is dependant on available space and class suitability. If 24 hrs notice is not given then a class swap cannot be offered. Ideally clients are requested to consult their diaries once notified on the dates of the following block and arrange any changes prior to the first session of that block.

Please note that class swaps may only be arranged within the same block and cannot be transferred.

Brewood Pilates reserves the right to amend the class schedule dependant on client demand and at short notice if necessary.

Private lessons

Private and reformer lessons require at least 24 hours notice prior to cancellation.
